SOLIDWORKS CSWA CERTIFICATION FOR BADPIXEL!
In October 2018, Badpixel invested in a Solidworks Professional license and in George Brown’s SW certificate program. We now offer a new line of services to clients.
March 27 was a great day at BPHQ because we obtained our CSWA Solidworks certificate, scoring 98% on the official certification exam! We are now proud to announce our SolidWorks line of services!

We spent months diving into the software after the purchase. There was a bit of a learning curve because of SW’s parametric nature – however, once we became comfortable, there was no going back. Solidworks has very efficient modeling features we now use almost daily. Admittedly, It’s not the greatest tool for organics. It has however, replaced Maya as our go-to modeling package for all our hard surfaced needs.
One of the things we’re most excited about, is translating SW parts and assemblies into high-quality VR Content. We have recently made a short YouTube video about this process. We will be creating more content exploring CAD to VR in more detail soon. Check out our YouTube page for updates!
