Branded Bartop Arcade Cabinet Build!
A super quick video on how we designed and built our Badpixel bartop arcade cabinet!
We’ve been using CG imagery of this thing for ages for the marketing we do for the company but the real deal has been on the bench for ages. In May, we finally found some time between jobs to button it up and cross it off the list. Unlike some of the other builds we’ve taken on around the shop, we actually took some time to document the process. Hopefully you enjoy the run-through.
If you enjoy the video, please help us out and comment, like, subscribe and share. We put a lot of time into these little run throughs and would love to do more.
Couple of people to thank for helping us out:
Eric MacPherson:
for helping out with the vinyl application and t-molding install – also with some electrical testing
Tryg Smith / ByDesign Graphics:
Who was responsible for the killer vinyl prints throughout the cabinet. Not only did he do an awesome job with the printing, but Tryg also helped us out of a bind. After originally applying the side art, the cabinet was accidentally left in the garage overnight, in the dead of winter, during a 30° temperature swing. When we checked on the cabinet the next morning, all the edges had peeled up and the adhesive had failed. Tryg re-printed the side art, and re-applied it for us… Because he’s awesome. And he did a much better job than what we were able to pull off the first time.
Can’t recommend ByDesign highly enough. Product is 2nd to none and the service is out of this world. If you have any custom printing needs (vinyl or other), Tryg is your man – contact him at ByDesignGraphics.com, by phone at 905-299-1795 or EMAIL HIM HERE!

Since we’ve finished the build, we’ve seen an uptick in interest for similar machines for our friends at agencies around Toronto.
